How to perform short-circuit test for wireless charger?
This test mainly verifies whether the product can cut off output effectively under short-circuit conditions, to ensure safe and stable operation.
Follow the procedure below for testing:
1. Prepare test equipment and test samples before testing.
2. Remove the bottom shell of the product to expose the PCB board, mount the test fixture and power it on.
3. Use tweezers to connect the positive and negative poles of the capacitor. The product enters short-circuit state, the indicator light turns off, and the product triggers automatic protection.
4. Remove the contact between capacitor poles. The indicator light lights up, and the product resumes power supply automatically.
If the sample triggers effective output cutoff upon short-circuit occurrence, it shall be regarded as a qualified specimen.
